Weingut Anselmann

The first mention of the Anselmann family dates back to 1126. For centuries, the family have been involved in the wine making and trade. It was in 1959,the year of its outstanding Vintage, that the winery rose to prominence and Werner Anselmann, father of current directors, started the bottling and marketing of their wines.

Today the winery is run by the three siblings, Gerd, Ralf and Ruth Anselmann. The winery  cultivates 100 hectares of vineyard area. The vines are planted with close relationship to nature, with only well-trained staff is used.

The grapes are hand picked, gently pressed, using advanced technology keeping the grapes varietal flavors and aroma. The result is high quality and palatable wines of international standard. This is demonstrated by the high awards and honours from national and international competitions.
