Intense red-violet color. On the nose, plums and gooseberries along with notes of violet, chocolate, vanilla and coffee. Hints of black pepper and green pepper.
The fresh fruit notes continue on the palate. A meaty and well balanced wine with sweet, ripe tannins, characterized by an endless amount of attributes that can be summed up by elegance, balance, smoothness and length. Easy to drink and enjoy!
Perfect with haute cuisine, game and wild birds, and semi-hard and hard cheeses.
Aging: 24 months in new oak barrels
(70% French, 30% American).
1 year in the bottle.
